6-13-2015 Mesquite Smoked Porter

A rich Brown Porter and a backing of robust smoked malts.  Just about any smoked malt, even home smoked, will work with this recipe.

Grist:

1 lb Mesquite Smoked Malt

.5 lb US 40L Crystal

.5 lb US Chocolate Malt

.25 lb US Black Patent

Extract:

3.3 lb Briess Gold LME

3.3 lb Briess Amber LME

Boil:

60min: 1 oz Kent Goldings @ 6%aau
