Additional Information: Basically, a 2/3 size version of the Italian-made floor corkers used in small wineries. Rear leg removable for transport. Feet may be screwed or bolted down using holes provided for added stability. Capable of inserting any cork including premiums and synthetics. An economical but still very strongly built option for the serious home winemaker.
Instructions: No need to soak corks prior to insertion. Simply center the bottle on the spring-loaded platform--the platform locks in place automatically as the handle is lowered to adjust for bottle height. Insert a cork between the jaws and pull down the handle. The cork is compressed to roughly the diameter of a dime, then popped into place by the plunger.
Tech Data: Nylon compression jaws. Overall size 27" high x 18 1/2" wide. Automatic adjustment for bottle height. Cork depth adjustable using nut on plunger.
