Inspired by the epic Dorset ales of the Cerne Abbas region of southern England, distinctive but little-known traditional ales of the English Channel Coast.  Giant Ale is probably best described as a British strong ale with some barleywine notes.   It uses 6 lbs of amber DME and a 6 lb partial mash.  There are 3 lbs of Fawcett Halcyon, a traditional English floor-malted pale ale with a biscuit flavor similar to Maris Otter, but less sweet.
