An aggressive fermenting ale yeast which will deliver low final gravities. Muntons Gold Ale Yeast is tolerant of higher alcohol and of relatively low fermentation temperatures. Good choice for high-alcohol ales, alts, IPAs, and lager styles.
Additional Information:
High attenuation will leave dry finish. Once started, will run at least into low 60s degF. Fermented a 1.074 alt to 1.008 in a test batch. Good flocculation.
Instructions:
Rehydrate in tepid water before addition to wort. Do not exceed 104degF--you may kill your yeast!
