Ingredients: 100% pure, partially fermented organic cacao.
Nibs are crushed cocoa beans that contribute the most intense cocoa flavor. They can be used directly in the mash, the boil, added to the secondary fermenter or to beer just prior to conditioning (like dry hopping).
Use judiciously - Three ounces in a five-gallon batch is a good starting point.
Crush or mill the nibs as you would grain.
