The inspiration for this kit was a friendly little competition between homebrewing brothers, Bert and Ian to see who could make the better Summer Blonde Ale. They each put forth their best recipe and served the resulting beers on tap at our retail shop. One was the clear winner in a “people’s choice” vote. A pale golden ale brewed with a bit of wheat, a pinch of cardamom and orange peel for a unique and restrained hint of spice in the flavor and aroma. The result: a very popular, refreshing and smooth crowd pleaser.  Sorry Bert.
