Windsor ale yeast is a true English strain that produces a beer which is estery to both palate and nose with a slight fresh yeasty flavor. Beers created with Windsor are usually described as full-bodied, fruity English ales. Leaves relatively malty finish. All-purpose for beers from bitters and stouts to wits and weizens. Likes relatively high temperatures.

Moderate attenuation will leave malty finish (e.g. 1.012 in a kit with corn sugar). Flocculation moderate to good. Great for full-bodied, 'fruity' English ales.
