This award winning recipe garnered a gold medal in the WNY Homebrew Competition, Amber Waves of Grain, by local homebrewer and multi-Best of Show winner, Tim Collins.  Better yet, the kit has been brewed by others, entered into competition and won more medals.  A very impressive beer indeed with over 10 pounds of malt extract and 2 pounds of specialty grain malts.  Malt accentuated, strong, deep amber in color with sufficient hop bitterness to back up the malt.  Packed with a lager yeast, it's a great beer to lager in your cellar.
